As your Ward 6 City Councilor, I will...

Focus on Community
I strongly believe that government exists to serve the people, and it works best when it stays focused on that mission. In 2025 and the coming years, it is imperative that Salem continues to focus, to make progress towards solving the biggest problems facing our community. We have real challenges ahead of us that will require hard work to weather, but I promise my unwavering commitment to getting us all through it, together.

Provide Leadership that Listens
I have a proven track record of leadership over the last 15 years. I started fostering my leadership skills as a member of Scout Troop 28 Wenham, where I ultimately earned my Eagle Rank; one of my proudest life achievements. I have held several recreational and professional leadership positions since then, and in each of those experiences I have learned new perspectives on leadership. I am a strong believer in leading by example, and service leadership, but I also know how to be the decision maker, and when to push to get things moving. Most importantly I understand how to listen. As your ward 6 councilor, I promise to do my best, to do my duty, and be the kind of leader that listens to your needs before acting.

Direct Change to Best Serve Us
If there’s one thing we can be sure of, it is change. We won’t know how and we won’t know when, but we know it’ll happen eventually. For the sake of ourselves and our community it is so important that we not fight change on principle. We need to be proactive, to drive change and leverage the opportunities presented to us as efficiently and effectively as possible. I have the skills and experience to successfully do this as your Ward 6 City Councilor.
